About me

Dea IrbyOriginally from Mississippi, I’ve lived in the south for my 40+ years of marriage. We have 8 children (same husband, same body), 11 grandchildren (so far) and I am homeschooling our only child still at home, a 16-year-old daughter.

I am currently a broker with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices YSU in Durham, NC in the Research Triangle area.  It brings me great pleasure to help people through the process of reaching their real estate goals whether selling their home or finding their next one. I am active in the Research Triangle Area of North Carolina with a focus on Durham. My business is built on referrals so if you or anyone you know, family or friends, is in need of an agent, please give me a call.

Other tidbits of info about me:

I created this website as “O Dea Me!” for a short-lived, life-coaching business because I have a passion to encourage women to remove their masks and live authentically, embracing their uniqueness. You will find much content on here to challenge and enrich you and your mindset.

I owned a tea room cafe in Georgia for 7 years, wrote a cookbook from that experience and recently traveled around the world for 6 weeks visiting my children who were on three different continents.

I enjoy theater and swimming laps at the YMCA. I did my first triathlon in 2014 AND SURVIVED!  I study social media business strategies and, for a time, served as moderator for Social Media Examiner’s Small Business Club.

I am a member of a writers’ critique group and working on an eBook series about parenting.

I continue to travel to visit children all around the world, sell my cookbook and always, always encourage people to embrace their uniqueness and live fully.
